Water cut if bill not paid

KAJANG: After three weeks without water, residents in a block of Taman Asa Jaya flats found their taps gushing again.

However, residents have been warned that the supply will be disconnected again in seven days if they don’t pay their water bill.

Syabas corporate communications and public affairs general manager Abdul Halem Mat Som said the 250 residents owed the company RM215,000 in arrears.

Many units have individual meters but the arrears date from the time when residents shared a common meter.
