Putri, one of the many abandoned projects in the much-touted Iskandar
Development Region (IDR). All efforts to lure foreign investments will
come to naught if the Johor government cannot clean up its backyard
littered with abandoned properties - evidence of the inability of the
state and the Housing and Local Government Ministry to monitor the
deception of buyers and investors by unscrupulous developers.

SHAH ALAM: Majlis Perbandaran Klang (MPK) mengenakan kompaun terhadap
sebuah syarikat pembinaan di Bandar Bukit Tinggi di Klang kerana didapati
gagal mematuhi syarat dan mengabaikan keselamatan orang ramai. Yang
Dipertua MPK, Mislan Tuqiu, berkata tindakan mengenakan kompaun itu dibuat
selepas syarikat pemaju itu didapati gagal menyediakan perlindungan
mencukupi termasuk tidak meletakkan papan tanda serta penghadang jalan.
